Before lashing out money on lowering links why not have a go with vcds?

Hello Del
I don't know of anyone who has VCDS in the north of England, although I do not mind travelling
Cheers Andy

Would imagine the cost of links would almost buy you a cable.

Can't say how invaluable they are when owning one of these cars as there is so much electrikery in them it's almost impossible to fault find and fix without one.

The dealership that I use charges £100 just to plug the car in and read fault codes so it's not long before cable has paid for itself.

There maybe a forum member that's up your way and there's a thread somewhere on this site and others that members with cables have made a register.

Might be worth a trip to A8parts and browse their toyshop?
Only 20 miles away and they might do the lowering for a suitable fee as well. ;)
