Round Fogs to Oblong ones?
 

Guys

Is it possible to upgrade the D3 front fogs from the pre 2008, round ones to the post 2008 oblongish ones? Has anyone done this already?

I have removed the plastic grill which surrounds the fog lights (mine are the round ones) and noted that there are three removable green plastic screw fitment thingy's on the bumper that the screws which mount the fog light go into, so does this mean you need to have a new bumper if you want to change the foggys?? :Confused:

any advice appreciated.

I'm surprised that this isn't a mod that peeps have wanted to do. :cool:

There was a thread on Audiworld where both types were compared. The mounting points are completely different and the bumper would require modification to get them to fit.

Anyone have any pics of the facelift bumper mountings for the foggys?
