Audi A8 Tail-lights as DRL

Hi,

I am new at this, cause I own Audi A8 only more then a month. Today, I received diagnostic cable from Ross-Tech. So I went test it with my car. I added battery level already on my MMI screen, also I added Oil level, but at the minute it's in dark grey, I did little research so I find out that needs activated in "Long Coding also", but I found another feature which I would like add for my car, it's how to do Tail-lights as DRL on Germans web site where I found it's step by step guide for Audi A5, so I am wondering, if I could make it same on my Audi A8, cause I own latest facelift on D3 platform which has awesome LED tail-lights so I would like activate same way as DRL, that always be ON, hopefully I will find some one who has more experience then me with changing stuff on Long coding.
Here is a web page where I found info for Audi A5 page no.6:

Isnt this the "SAE rear lights" option in comfort systems coding section?

+0002048 = SAE Rear Lights (PR-A8U)

Tail lights switch on all the time.. Cause I have on my A8 DRL (day running lights) 5 leds in head light. You have to leave light switch on OFF and activate DRL on MMI so it's lights up twice brighter as usual, but on that mode tail-ligts is off.. I would like to code them to DRL option, when I am activated DRL on MMI that tail-lights light up as well..

Why not just turn your lights on?

Because DRL are twice brighter as on switch on mode and looks much better on day light when DRL are activated. I will try make some pictures tomorrow.

As you can see on this picture DRL is activated.

On this one lights are switch on, so if you compare those two pictures, you will see that DRL lights are twice as brighter them just normal switch on. But tail-lights stays off on DRL, that's why I would like to re-coded as someone did on A5.

Marcin is also trying to achieve this as am I to no avail just yet. I don't think I've come across someone having done this successfully just yet ...
