Sunglasses Holders
 

Did the D3 have an option for a sunglasses holder?

I miss mine from the A4 and lost to where to put my glasses.

Keep mine in the fold out door pocket

I do but I have a habit of putting my cameras in there and they get damaged.

I was going to take the one from my A4 but its the wrong shape for the grab handles

Where does it fit in the A4 ? What does it look like?

Its from VW but fits where the grab handle goes above the driver.

If I can find one that's square, the VW one is round, it could do the same thing.

The grab handle on the drivers side is pointless I think.

I bung mine in one of the arm rests

I put mine in the passenger armrest and lay it lens down on a thin microfibre cloth.
I had the VW glasses holder on my Passat and to be honest it was not great, even ordinary size sunglasses struggled to fit and it wouldn't close all the way. I certainly wouldn't bother retrofitting it.
