Looking at an D3 .....what do you think
 

Hi all i have a wicked d2 3.7 QS but looking at a D3 what do you think of this one the alloys look like 17" which i did not think that an A8 would come with

Also are there any tips to look out for and check before hand with the seller

Oh i did forget that the seller did say that the abs light comes on sometimes on motorway runs is that a big fix and also think that it has a chain as to a cam belt ....i was thinking that it was still cam belt driven:Confused::Confused:

Looks quiet low spec, very few if any extras. The car is a Quattro Sport as it has the 3 spoke wheel and sports seats. Apart from that it looks standard, like the touch of the can of carlsberg. No keyless go, standard alloys, no extended chrome, no quad zone but it does appear to have Adaptive cruise (at least the correct lower centre grill for it) and the built in telephone (you can see the handset in one of the photos)

I was not sure what to look for on it such a diff look to my D2. would this one not have bluetooth built into it.

Hi Steve well it's a sport model, has Bose and adaptive cruise so not totally basic, and it actually looks pretty clean for the Money, so might be worth a closer look and a scan if it's not too far away. It's not a bad price and not crazy mileage +++

Looks good to me. Also has a sunroof and perhaps steering headlights and turning in light too.
It's certainly worth checking out the adaptive cruise, a shot of the instruments will show us this. Otherwise the car looks good, and one owner always perks up my interest.

With the other one there is no record of Cambelt change and they where not sure if it was cambelt or chain
