Air compressor repair option

Spotted reference to this on another non-Audi forum and thought I'd post details here in case people aren't aware.

I gather kit is about £25 and probably worth a go on a tired compressor if you can sort before the pump breaks completely :)

Im currently doing a deal with andi as we speak

As of now if we would like a kit we will get them for £20 each including postage I will do a right up soon of the kit as I have just fitted one to my 8 and it was simple and effective +++

Nice one - was mentioned in a bargain barges thread on pistonheads as a good option for Allroad etc

I've got the Andy kit fitted to my D3 compressor. The part was fitted by my local Indy garage and fixed the G291 fault code I had on the compressor. It was fitted in January and is still great today.

Beware there are imitation ones also available, but Andys is the original.

Emailed Andy with the information given from daviesbike asking for a kit.
He sent me a paypal invoice and its all done.

Just got to wait for it to turn up.
:)

Yup, I have used Andy's kit too...highly recommended.

Whilst I was in my car today scanning the engine and HVAC ECU due to other issues, thought I'd check the level control module. Result, no faults showing since the Andy kit was installed in January.
