Long Coding Extras
I keep looking at VCDS tricks for the 8 and noticed that some of the items would be 'cool' are done via long coding.
The long coding on my D3 seems very limited compared to the facelift and D4 A8s. But I have found something out that I'm yet to try. Apparently in long coding you can enter the 8 digit binary code in the correct byte section even though you don't have anything in there at the moment. This wont always work cause it depends on the module and coding. the coding might be different depending on the year and what not. I understand that it wont damage or hurt the car if you get it wrong, so it wont hurt to give it a go. Wondering if anyone has given it ago or got any coding they would like to add to their long coding? |
