chrome trims
 

has anybody got any good ideas or good products for cleaning the chrome trims on my s8. just spent an hour trying to polish them with autoglym metal polish and they look no different.:Confused:

Meguiars metal polish.....the dogs danglies :)

went out and got myself some meguiars nxt genaration all metal polysh and did as it says on the tub. half an hour later of rubbing the same inch of chrome trim and guess what ! it looks just the same as before:Confused:

Tell me about it...
 

Last weekend, I used Meguiars, Brasso, and some other stuff - an hour or so later, a small improvement... :mad:

ah well, looks like I'll have to pop along to MIJ for a brand new shiny one...and then I'll have 4 of the buggers to polish! :D

The chrome strips are coated in some form of plastics; I have used Klasse AIO in the past with some noticeable improvement+++
