Might be quicker giving A8parts a shout directly, as they're not always on.

I'm looking for one for a D2, but they seem to be in short supply

I assume you are after a second hand unit, since there is some on ebay?

EDIT: Used? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111455513002

Crumbs, I seem to think they're quite a bit less than that new !

Ooft! That's pretty damn expensive!

Thanks all

Been looking for a while and can get one for around £400 new.

The guys at A8 are keeping an eye out for one for me. Think i was spoilt with my D2 as I bought a new in the box unused one for £150.

Seem to be few and far between for the D3.

The pukka D3 towbar is quite unique as the removal swanneck is Ally. Its so strangely light and almost flimsy feeling.... Makes a nice change from all the massively heavy steel ones with every other Audi model.....

And the official one is frankly a pain in the backside as the tolerances are incredibly tight, and you need to give it a good clean with a wire brush every time you use it.

Clean? the towball? Hell no. I have all on squrting crap off the winsdcreen +++

Just give some wiggle and it always goes in. They're reassuringly snug to fit +++
