EGR Reducer

Anyone seen, used or sampled this for their TDI?

I don't see how that would help anything.
What is it supposed to do?

My understanding is its like blocking the EGR without blocking it.
Reducing the flow of exhaust gasses into the engine without the engine managment light coming on.

I've known people run them in their 4 pot TDIs and apparently noticed a difference.

Don't think it will work very well, they were OK on older engines that had fixed EGR duty cycle. Any half modern engine has specified airflow and EGR duty cycle is adjusted dynamically to reach that airflow. So it will just open EGR valve more if desired airflow is not reached and might trigger a fault if it is too much out of spec.
