Electric Park Brake Seal
Hi All
Noticed a little damp patch next to the assenter real wheel when i moved my car this morning. Car has been sat for about a week and I tend to park in the same sport. I pulled the rear wheel off and noticed and lot of muck and a fluid drip on the short flex to the calliper. After some cleaning it looks like the fluid is oozing from the joint between the calliper and the motor. Does anyone have any experience of changing the offending seal. I found a part number for the O-ring and have one on order for saturday. Would be grateful for any advice on fixing it. cheers Martin |

Fantastic, thank you.
Thats exactly what i needed - wasn't really sure what the inside of the housing looked like. If I get time i will take some photos and a little write up. Cheers Martin |
No problemo mate +++
Please do, we may make it STICKY for future reference. How much was the seal?? |
The seal was about 2.50 from the local TPS store.
Use them for all my TT parts as they are all genuine and the prices are no where near as bad as the local stealers. Not sure if TPS area nationwide however. Will change it on sunday. Thanks once again. |

TPS is VAG and supply main dealers and traders with parts at a discounted price.
some TPS stores are happy to sell to the public but they are not meant to. TPS for trade only and public should go to dealers. But they don't cause TPS is cheaper lol My local TPS people won't sell me anything cause I'm not trade, its really annoying. Looking forward to the right up on this. |
