Auto sticks
 
hi first time poster here, my a8 quattro sports 2.8 has just started lighting all the auto options SDNRP and sticks in a gear , second or third I think, anyone experienced this or any ideas?

Welcome along. Do a search on 'F125' switch, as it has been widely reported on here. The forum sponsor should also be able to source you one.

Hi steamship, thanks for the welcome, yes I've read a lot already, hopefully I'll get the f125 replaced and it should be ok

I'd get the transmission module scanned for faults before spending money on the F125 switch, it is a common fault yes but these boxes are not exactly renowned for their reliability internally.

Agree with the scanning option first. If you havent got VCDS then there may well be someone near you who can help. Where are you?

There's a vagcom register on here somewhere. Search for that and PM the nearest person to you to see if they'll scan it for you
