Nsf strut needed

Need nsf strut for my 2004
There are some on eBay but would like to get one in rather god working order
EBay not as trustworthy when it comes to used parts

Already did check them-quite expensive.They asking 500£ for used strut vs 399 remanufactured on eBay vs 439£ new strut from Germany
Was hoping someone have one laying in a garage :-)

Yeah, they are expensive. Call A8parts anyway and see what deal they can do for you outside eBay, it's always worth trying mate +++

New ones are £700 a pair shipped from China.
The VW Phaeton was/is especially popular there and so these parts are an every day part there. It's probably the route I'd try.

399 refurbished with 2 years warranty
Company located near Heathrow
Bloke delivered shock to the garage, waited there for it to be fitted, tested if ok took old one as part of the deal

So basically same principles when it comes to buying refurbed pumps, difes and other reconditionable components.
You can get one for 250 as reconditioned unit but I would pay that 149 quid for a pice of mind backed by good 2 year warranty..
How much is the fitting by the way??

I'm doing few things on the car, more labour involved - picking it up next week
- suspension compressor pump rebuild (kit was 100 quid), my mech is doing refurb
- front suspension upper arms, both sides all of them
- stabilizer links both sides
- cv boot osf was cracked
- new battery
- parking sensor front middle nsf
- new xenon bulbs and park lights leds
- engine oil, filters
- spark plugs
- new grill, old one was cracked
Car should be as new he he

Few things?? You mean a car rebuild :D
