TV modul DIGITAL 4F0919142A

I saw this on eBay today, but what exactly does this do?

Parts base describe the item as 'digital/analogue converter for; tv reception', I'm still none the wiser...

Thanks for the link.

So my guessing is that it's a digital tuner that works in parallel with the existing analogue TV tuner. However, I'll keep googleing!

After searching a bit more it's a digital TV tuner that converts the signal to be used with the AUX inputs on the analogue tuner. It cannot be controlled through the MMI, hence the remote control.

So pretty much like any aftermarket DVB-T tuner but with the bonus of using the existing diversity aerials. +++
But no use without the wiring loom. :tuttut:
And is the remote radio or IR because the latter would need a sensor?

4e0088935c is the wiring loom part number, but I couldn't find a price online.

Couldn't find specs on the remote and there are no other codes relating to an IR sensor. It may well be radio which would make installation and use a breeze! +++
