S8 D2 Avus wheel caps fitment q
 

looking for a quick confirmation, do these caps fit the D2 S8 Avus wheels?

8D0601165 E Z17 or does it have to be 8D0601165E ?

Presumably you mean the facelift wheels? (the dark car in my sig pic)

I have the later Avus 18" wheels on my D2. There are 2 part numbers on the back of the centre caps: Audi 8D0 601 165 E and VW 3B0 601 149K

Mine will be coming off later when the winter wheels go on, if anything different I'll post details here. For reference PF are 895 601 165 with no letters.

yes, for the FL rims...

Z17 is colour code for Avus silver but as far as I know these particular center caps only came in one colour so it should not matter if there is Z17 in part number or not.
