W12 service book weight
 

Hi all D3 W12 owners.
I am possibly considering a W12 as a second car, if I can find somewhere to keep it.

Could you please post your service book curb weight, I would especially be interested to see the difference between SWB and LWB.

And where would i find curb weight ?

I think I saw that somewhere a couple of days ago...can't find it at the mo. Had weights and measures for SWB/LWB and all the engine variants

For D2's its on the first page of the service book, where it lists your engine code chassis no. etc
If you can find it that would be great, curious to see how it compares to Neil's

Thanks Neil, ouch! I was hoping it would be under 2000kg. Probably depends on options.
So I'm guessing the LWB is even heavier.

It's on the bottom left corner of the front options and codes page on the service manual

Weight 1995 kg.
Max weight 2545 kg.

Not entirely convinced about this data thought - elsewhere it says the wheels are 8.5 x 18 rims, which doesn't sound right?

I read it as covering all engine options so expected it to be among them. After all, its an A8 with a different badge on, isn't it? All of those engine options on one page and a separate page for a single option? I suppose they have their reasons
