Phone speaker quality
 

Hi

anybody else suffering from a vibration/sympathy rattle from their phone speaker when it's in use?

Known issue or fix?

I've had the centre dash speaker on D3 B&O go on more than one car, its bloody irritating when it does as the ringing tone of a call is just the right pitch to make it resonate badly....

Was it the speaker itself that was at fault or just a resonance in the mount?

Ran VCDS through this today and did the output tests, the centre speaker appears to be borked!

Thought I should update this.

The centre speaker was borked and a replacement at £57 made a huge difference to both the sound quality overall and the phone output. one plastic trim cover, 6 x 8mm bolts for the surround under that carrier and 3 torx bolts for the speaker itself.

Sorted!
