Wanted: Intake Manifold Linkage Arms
For my 2002 S8. The one inch ones please.
Does anyone have one or two? |
I made mine in the end, quite simple to do and have worked perfectly +++

Yes, I saw the thread - impressive. I was hoping for a quicker solution though.

I'm also investigating getting a CAD file made up and having some 3D printed. But that will take a bit longer. |
I'd have probably tried to repair them, unless some of the parts had gone missing of course.
I find that most plastic components, unless there's very limited space, can be glued back together and then reinforced externally to be even stronger than initially. |
Part of it is missing! :(
Possibly still on the under tray, but I quite like Sir Will's solution. |

I was a cheapskate as i was simply not prepared to pay that money either and used a metal cable tie pinched at either end to stop it rolling of the ball joints if you get me - i love cable ties of any material !! One of my favourite 'tools' - doesn't say much does it :)
Im being lazy like my fix but pls link your fix - be interested to see how i could have done it better !! |
Jim, why don't you order alu billet ones from the gruvenparts? This is what I did.
If you decide to take that path please make sure you order the short S8 ones as ordinary linkage arms A8 are longer. http://www.gruvenparts.com/audi-vw-4...-linkage-arms/ |
