OP I got the latest nav disc off ebay for €10 or so. Just pop it in and let it do its thing, nothing to mess up really.
I also have the latest MMI 5570 on disc (genuine from audi). You get 3D on the maps if you want to run it in your car. I'm near Kells.

Yes, you're right. It's a 2G unit as I can only get Audio and the dealer confirmed that it's not upgradeable...
Would you do a deal on the new MMI so I can get the 3D maps? The maps on it right now are awful and out of date...
