Hi,
The handset cradle plate in the photo would indicate to me that the car has factory bluetooth fitted. We have the same cradle plate in our 2006 Q7 with phone prep/bluetooth. The "not installed" message would mean the bluetooth module is probably coded out or bypassed with a fibre optic loop. Might be worth having a look for the bluetooth module under the carpet in front of the passenger seat. The carpet can be pulled back for access from under the glovebox once the plastic trims on the door sill have been unclipped/removed.
As previously said, the bluetooth modules are prone to failure.
The one on the Q7 was replaced last year but thankfully, the local dealer got a goodwill contribution from Audi and it was replaced for about €200.
