Reviving an old thread, I've just checked on my early FL model (2000 A8L) and I have the following codes:
PRCode: 1KE = Disc brakes rear
PRCode: 1LX = Disc brakes front
So it looks like mine are the smaller 269mm jobs out of the Audi parts bin.
