Having seen it and driven it yesterday, after being kindly invited to by Ian, I can only say that whoever owns this next is a lucky sod.

I've never been in a car so brutal yet refined. Brutal in delivery of the power yet seems to do it effortlessly and stays solid and stable throughout. I've ridden high powered motorbikes and thought the acceleration from them was awesome but this car is something else. The kick in the back as you're thrust back into the seat when the loud pedal is pushed produces the biggest adrenaline rush ever. Despite it being damp and dull it did it with the minimum of fuss and when required to behave it's also a lovely car to be in

If my circumstances were different I'd be driving back down to collect it next week. Driving home in the S8 felt sedate in comparison but a worthwhile few hours spent and the added bonus of a 150 mile trip while listening to the B&O without interference from a passenger
