I think, like me, you should focus on useful mods. For example:
- my solar sunroof (I live in the west coast of Scotland, so the car suffers terribly from overheating when parked in the blazing sunshine)
- my rear view camera (which is always crystal clear and doesn't suffer from the cr*p that would be kicked up all over the lens if I lived in a climate where the roads were usually wet)
- the chrome instrument rings (the functionality of which should be obvious)
- the radio clock (which, because I'm so close to the signal transmitter in Germany, never drops the signal)
- red painted calipers (which clearly improve the braking distance significantly)
I hope these examples will be a lesson to you all in making sensible mods to your car that serve a purpose and are not just 'cool'!

Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).
