Not changed the gearbox coding as it's the same box, just re-con'd and the only coding diferences would make it stay in limp and not run at all. The gearbox ECU is not in the gearbox, it's in the car so has remained unchanged.
Glad to have got her back to you mate, she felt quick enough to me! I think that old A8 you've bought has spoilt you as I was AMAZED by it's throttle response when I tested it!! I think the revert back to Drive By Wire and smoother operation is fooling you - the S8's a quick motor chap!
