I misdiagnosed a faulty bootlid motor (which actually was just the battery trying to save some energy). In my haste to keep one of my favourite toys functional, I purchased a new motor at Audi. (yes, I'm an over-enthusiastic idiot)
To my surprise, I already had the updated higher torque motor with the metal casing and the H suffix in the part number. Although I didn't really need it, I can't return it, so I've fitted the new one to my car and I'm selling the original one. The part (4E0 827 852 H) comes from a 2008 S8 and the part has a manufacturing date of 28th March 2008.
I've attached some pictures of the motor below. It comes with the original Audi box and packaging from the new one. I've also attached a movie of the motor working, so you can be sure it works. You can see a video of it in action here:
