well , just going to get off the ferry in newhaven and go for an MOT ; remembered that the mileage recording comes back to life after the car gets cold , so had a look so that ~I would be able to calculate the correct figure for the tester

got to the test station , forgot to tell him ...but he recorded the correct figure on the fail sheet : and on the pass sheet which was clipped to it !

how did you get the correct figure I asked ...easy he said ...old technology !
