Yes, I know I've been quiet - a bit like you were Marcin , when life took over!

So, a very brief excuse for being so quiet:

The company I worked for got closed down - it was expected and I was planning to retire this year anyway, so I got the bonus of a redundancy cheque instead of a gold watch! But it was pretty stressful none the less.

Then we put our house up for sale in September, as we've always planned to move back the the East Midlands when I retired. We got a single viewing and they made 3 offers - we accepted the last one! But they wanted a quick move, so we're planning to move very early February.

Then my youngest daughter decided to buy a flat, with help from the bank of mum and dad as well as all the admin work that goes with it.

And my brother died in June, having lost the very sad fight with alcoholism, and managing his estate has also been very time consuming.

So, hopefully, one of these excuses will allow me forgiveness! I'll be quiet again for the next couple of months, but I'll be back - does anyone here live in the Vale of Belvoir? That's where we we're moving to.
