To follow on from the hilarious 'how many forum members does it take to change a light bulb', I'll play the part of the forum member that warns about the dangers of changing air filters
Well, not dangers as such. Just a heads up about the flawed design.
The top half of the air box which comes off to access the filter is bolted to the bottom airbox half with 4 big bolts and some sort of captive nut in the bottom airbox half.
Its a common occurrence for these bolts to become rusty and a bit seized.
Hopefully they are not, but if they are try soaking in anti-seize penetrating oil.
One of mine the head broke off and I had to replace the airbox.
When putting them back coat in copper grease or a bit of engine oil to stop them seizing next time.
