Right, my VCDS finally arrived today - just managed to get outside in the pitch black and do a scan, almost wish I hadn't... looks like loads of errors!
I can see a lot are voltage related, so hope that the new battery solves that, will drop it in and code tomorrow, if not, it looks like it'll be something else.
Some of the errors are a little concerning in that there was no CEL light on the dash, so how could it have engine errors and do that?
This was from an auto scan, I also checked the individual modules for the Engine (which it read ok) and the gearbox (also) so don't know why they show as cannot be reached below?
