I'd be wary of just looking at the Gateway Installation List
I've found I regularly get my Auto Transmission marked with a Malfunction but the ECU scan has never found a fault of any kind!
I'd also echo what other have said earlier; the 'Clear DTCs' one-click function doesn't seem to work properly [and I'm thinking of reporting it as such to Ross Tech].
I always do my scans with the engine running as with just 'ignition on' you can get all sorts of faults due to the electric load on the battery that the A8s take. Unless you have a really hefty charger supply [12V 30A] on the battery with the ignition off, you'll get strange results.
Also, as others have said, you need to clear the DTCs individually and 'run the car around the block' to see what reappears. Then do a full scan and then put the whole log online ...
