Your conditions probably reflect someone messing with the car ECUs in the past. The Driver and Passenger door ECUs are identical but coded differently. Unfortunately I can't find any coding explanations for the ECUs but I have ECU HW 4E0 959 760 in both doors and mine are coded "3670112" Passenger - Left - ECU 06 and "3670126" Driver - Right - ECU 36.
2) Miles/Km
As Marcin indicates, this is relatively simple, as it is a selection off the MMI menu somewhere for the units to be used for the car. HOWEVER, if you have a fingerprint reader, Mi/km is one of the settings that is retained for each user. [As there are 4 users with fingerprint reader, this make 5 variations available, as there is also a setting that is used if the driver is not identified].

Hi Julian - no fingerprint reader. Don`t actually have any idea what/where that is if I do have it lol. I don`t think I do, only have the keyless go entry/locking system (when it decides to work that is!  )
