Yup that was me. We did wave but I don't think you saw us.
I was getting some much needed V-Power to dilute the s**te I got from a Gulf station (that I was forced to use earlier in the weekend due to a lack of Shell stations in Lindisfarne).
We saw you again later and almost overtook you but you turned off towards York, just as we were passing. I gave a couple of toots on the horn but you were already on the slip-road by then and probably didn't hear/see us.
