My mast symbol eventually returned after a week or two, but no amount of fuse pulling and 'tricking' the clock would force it. Like when I first installed it, I just had to let it find the signal on its own. Interestingly, on both occasions, it took much more than the 3 days that Sergey's write suggests is when it should 'forget' that it's there.
RS6 - I'd be happy to help fit one if you're not far from NG13 post code (but I've not fitted the receiver to the spot where Sergey's is - that's a bit trickier, although I have heard that ther's a 'short cut' to pulling out all the back of the dash!
