Hey there,

Actualy i think Laminated is better as the plastic film reduces uv as well as helping block sound and keep temperatures. It is also a *lot* harder to break, also reduces penetration, so helps stop projectiles, be that in an accident or bullet proof glass (the standard 8 isn't, but...)

Double glazing has a gap, laminated fills that gap with special plastic layer.
