Well, I doff my cap to you MJ for the immaculate write-up, the attention to detail, and the quality photo accompaniments to this thread. I get the overriding impression that there's always a fix for whatever comes your way.
With respect to the amp, I remember that Phoenix Gold one very well from back in the day - it was THE reference amp to have. Infiniti Kappa subs were experienced in a show BMW when I attended the IASCA finals in Dallas. All great quality stuff there and a very neat install. I'm in the same boat as Richy/Ricky D insofar as my old A8 had the ski hatch but my newer A8L doesn't. Thanks Andrew (HPsauce) for the link in this thread, which I will read with interest.
Like many others on this thread, I look forward to the day when I can get booked in for some MJ fettling although I suspect that won't be any time soon - you've set a massively high standard with the quality of your work and we can all see that from the photos/mini storyline.
I will continue to watch this thread although I know that all good things come to an end eventually.
