That's on the list - surface finish is the challenge again on that one, but if its flat and can be sanded then painting that will be easier.

At 2:40 you can just see the printed structure in the surface finish. I believed this is SLS - Selective Laser Sintering, although looking at the finish it could well be SLM which gives a tighter grain structure.
At the Autosport Engineering show in January there is usually a company 3D printing snail shells from titanium, just to show off the tech.
I think that Navi Knopf model is close to the D2 menu knob but a little tall. I'll have a tinker with it and see what I can make of it
