I was going to to get the train, but I discovered that a friend and neighbour was coming back from a week’s lambing on a friend’s farm in Devon, which he does every year. MJ dropped me at a services, which was on his way home, just as he was coming out from the shop, having paid for his fuel.
Friends are one of life’s best gifts!
