Input from the Glasgow (and Edinburgh!) Mafia welcome.
PS One of our walking routes takes us by the Clutha Bar, which seems to be advertised as "The best bar food in Glasgow". Given what happened there I'm in two minds (maybe 3?), do you:
1. Treat it like a normal bar/pub and call in if it suits us and behave normally.
2. As 1, but remember what happened so be a tad more respectful and acknowledge the tragedy as appropriate.
3. Avoid because we're definitely NOT "gawpers".
As someone who lived in London through various IRA bombing events (some of which affected us very directly) and though they're not "equivalent" we would naturally tend to do #1 - Keep Calm and Carry On! But we don't know the Glasgow "vibe" on such things.
