Yeah may well be because its an import. Neil had issues with his D4 because of a plate change so the slightest thing seems to trigger it.
Maybe point out that other D2s with the same drivetrain are compliant - give them some reg numbers to confirm? I'll have a look in Elsawin later and see if that has anything on emissions standards. I know it has coding tables for Euro3 and 4, but that won't mean anything to the DVLA (TfL?).
