Definitely softer than the 6 (I drove both back to back at castle Combe track on an Audi experience day). I didn’t drive an S8 (they didn’t have one) to compare but the packaging on the 7 strikes me as odd. Depends if the hatch design works for you and the seat layout/headroom isn’t too compromised. I think the latest 7 is a much better looking car at the back than the previous model, which might hurt values on the earlier cars
