Awesome write up! Glad mine's had most of this done already, otherwise I don't think I'd be doing it
I gather my bluetooth module is up above the glovebox, so what I have in the boot is almost certainly the OE CD changer, TV module and old skool mobile module?
I tried the TV reception yesterday and it's pretty lousy - not helped by the fact we've got lots of digital services locally. I only pick up 3 analogue channels and reception on those is pretty poor. Given mine is a 2002, I'm assuming I have a Type B tuner and hopefully aerials capable of dealing with digital reception? Is there anyway to check for sure without major interior surgery?
Would the TV tuner have been replaced at the time of the RNS-E install, or can you plug the original RNS-D compatible TV tuner back in?
Million dollar question - how 'plug and play' should fitting a digital capable TV tuner with my current setup? What part number/version whatever of TV tuner do I need to search ebay for?
Many thanks in advance
