Went up to Birmingham NEC yesterday afternoon (3 hrs from Hertfordshire...had to make ample use of thre A5 up to MK), and back home this morning. Car was superb - car park at NEC was -18deg this morning...
And why did I go?....went to BBC Sport Personality of the Year...with VIP free bar/food access to the after show party 'til early hours of this morning. Rather odd experience sharing the dance floor with Zara Phillips and James Corden at 1am this morning!!
