As for the armrest, unless you're wedded to the PF look, the best solution is to fit a pair of facelift ones. 
Very easy to swap (just one bolt IIRC) and a much better and more robust design.
I did it ages ago on my long-departed PF S8 when the metal failed in one of the arm mounts and had no regrets. |
What year is the best one to get?
When you say one bolt I take it the mount is the same you just take the old mount out and put the new mount in its place ?
