Sorry All, I failed to continue this like I had planned, but the holiday became rather busy. So many people wanted us to visit them. It meant a few old folks care home visits, other folk travelling to see us and the family wanting to show Linda the sites that I have seen so often before. Linda enjoyed meeting my family and friends, we even managed to meet two people she met while on holiday in Greece earlier in the year, which meant two new for me.
We also had four days in Valkenburg near Maastricht, but not enough time to visit everything in the area, must do that part again.
Came back home to mayhem, ill health and hospital visiting with my English family.
We managed to dine at Chepstow Racecourse for my Army College Reunion in September and did Remembrance Sunday weekend in London.
Then Armistice Day 11th November whilst walking to the Parish Church I slipped and managed to break my ankle. Plaster cast on my right ankle and the included driving ban. Whilst recuperating I suffered a stroke from which I am luckily slowly recovering.
Not to worry, Linda has taken to driving the 8 and is enjoying it so much she went to York twice without me. Poor me left alone at home to watch Xmas Romances on the box, thank god for YouTube clips.
Don't worry I am recovering, all the left side has come back just a slight slur in speech but unable to do anything strenuous yet.
Good news, my8 has passed it's MOT OK today. So maybe 2025 will be better than last.
