So I dithered and didnt get around to fixing or repalcing the latch and now the boot won't open at all!
I've tried with the key and the internal switches and no joy. The central locking is working fine and it makes a promising noise at the boot but theres nothing when you press the latch. The boots relatively empty and I've tried pushing and pulling and no change. It's like something has disengaged. I did a search and on an archived thread on this forum someone had a similar issue and resolved it by smashing out the tail lights to release the boot! Is this still the case or is there another solution that someone knows?
