No I have had the box rebuilt in the Uk and the torque converter custom rebuilt in the states (it's an uprated raceing one) to my spec as it needs to take 950 nm torque or if you prefer 700 lbs p ft at 3000 revs, iirc it has been built to take 800 ls p ft just to be on the safe side
very much cheaper than going manual I might say
