Easiest and cheapest probably would be aftermarket central locking system with separate remote if you want to go electrical. And leave original system connected in unlocked state for alarm and immobilizer not to go off, but that would mean you loose alarm. You can of course then add aftermarket alarm.
Other option would be complete set from C5 A6 if you want OEM look but that would be expensive even second hand and I do not how much custom work and wiring it would involve but should be able to make it work with alarm.
For key would need to change all locks and there is a good chance that transponder in the key is different and would not be possible to code to immobilizer as early ones used fixed code immobilizer and later ones variable code. But I guess you could chop out original transponder from old key and fit inside new one then again I don't know if locks are physically same and if they would fit.
I never had need to do anything like that so it's all just speculations based on limited knowledge.
I would probably leave it alone. If it ain't broken don't fix it.
