I set up a competition at one of my previous employers for all the builders merchant staff - if they placed over a certain value of order then they got 1 entrant to the "grand prix"
Stage 1 was a local go kart centre and the top 3 drivers went through to regional finals which were Stage 2 at a regional outdoor go-kart track with twin engined pro-karts. The 3 winners from each regional heat went through to a Palmersport day at bedford autodrome (which was the main attraction!) and then the winner of the day at Palmersport (judged by the instructors) won an all expenses paid trip for 2 to the Belgian grand prix.
Had a go at Palmersport myself on that day (along with the main group buyer of the merchants of course!) and it was one of the best motorsport days ive ever had, awesome fun and great instructors - have fun!!!
