That's an awesome article you found there, bud. Personally, I have no faith in the ZF units, I have had pals with Jaguar and BMW ZF units fail. One was 2 weeks after being serviced by a ZF specialist, with the correct fluid.
It would appear fluid changes on a tranny with over a 100,000 miles without ever been serviced, could do more harm than good, due to dislodging benign deposits, which end up clogging control valves. Think of it as a blood clot breaking free and clogging up a main artery, causing you to have a stroke.
I guess owners will have to make their own choices.
