I did this to the exhaust on my XK a couple of years back and it sounded the dog danglies. I do miss the sound of a nice petrol engine
They had a similar system which had a valve opened by a vacum pipe. I sorted that and boy did she make a good sound all the time. Although for cruising it was still very nice. Would love to hear the S8
